Media Production Specialist

The Media Production Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the full process of the creation of various types of media for all Keysight related platforms including but, not limited to, digital, social, and the web in general. While this is primarily a video production and editing position, necessary limited supporting skills include audio, photography, live streaming, graphics, and motion graphics. This position usually operates pretty independently and handles many on set jobs: director, camera operator, producer, sound, script supervisor, and pretty much every other job that takes place on set during production. This position needs to be able to function both very independently as well as collaborate as an integral part of the Creative Services team, while self-managing priorities and projects at all times. While not essential, some basic engineering experience would help with editing all of the technical jargon that takes place in every video.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Production of video content to design, set up, and direct video shoots in the studio and the field.
Post production editing, including transferring, sorting, archiving, and editing video footage to create videos that comply with all corporate standards.
Operate, install, and maintain all production equipment including cameras, lenses, lights, motorized gimbals, a Network Attached Storage archiving system, teleprompters, and live production switchers.
Manages own project workflow while coordinating with numerous project teams and management on schedules, assignments, requirements, and goals as needed.
Coordinate with colleagues to scout/select on/off site locations, select equipment, troubleshoot as needed and handle all logistics as the onsite and in-studio production videographer.
Produce stories, capture photos and video for a range of projects including social media, posters, advertisements, email, corporate identity pieces, and externally-facing websites.
Works within creative and graphic standard guidelines
Maintain a long-term sustainable file structure/naming convention to enable efficient content management, including the cataloguing and archiving of video content. Post approved video content so appropriate internal and customer-facing audiences can download it for approved use.
Work with internal and external resources related to video production, including business teams, executive leaders, influencers, and external creative services/agencies/contractors.
Work with and advise staff across the globe to record quality video on their own for educational content
Work with and coach on-camera engineer talent to produce the best quality videos possible

Job Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in video production and/or completion of a certificate program in television production and graphic design from an accredited technical institute, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
Progressively responsible experience in professional video editing/production environment demonstrating competence in all areas of video production and graphic design.
Knowledge of professional video production procedures, practices, techniques, terminology, and equipment, including professional video cameras, audio recording equipment, lighting and post-production equipment.
Demonstrated ability to plan video productions using a variety of methods that include storyboards and outlines.
Very competent abilities in Adobe Creative Suite (CC), specifically Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Photoshop, After Effects, and Light Room.
Outstanding communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to write and speak clearly, and communicate effectively with groups and individuals, including those whose primary language is not English.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities and partner resources.
Ability to collaborate and work independently.
Ability to travel (approx. 10%)

Experience
Highly creative thinking
Experience with taking highly technical ideas and translating them to visual presentations.
Knowledge of professional video equipment, including mid-level Canon (c300ii) and Panasonic cameras.
Control Room/Studio experience and knowledge of studio lighting and audio methods.
Extensive knowledge of video formats, codecs, and their appropriate applications.
Great attention to detail, and the ability and flexibility to work under tight deadlines.
Must be able to take initiative, multi-task, and independently complete tasks and projects.
Must be able to effectively communicate with internal clients regarding video projects.
Must maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times and be receptive to input and constructive criticism.

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
