Certified Facilities Manager (1454-209)

The Certified Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. The position plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs.
Essential Functions

Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion.
Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications, including cost estimates.
Inspects construction and installation progress.
Initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment.
Manages the receiving function.
Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.
Manages the telecommunication function.
Oversees the maintenance of facilities.
Develops and administers the annual budget.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises various contracting crews, including parking attendants, janitors and building maintenance personnel.

Work Environment
Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and shop environments and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required speak and read English. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, the positions require overnight on-call duty and the ability to work during nonstandard hours when the need arises.
Required Experience
CFM Certification from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
An AA or BA in any relevant Engineering field
Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, two of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multifunctional maintenance staff.
Facilities management experience
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License. Able to receive and maintain a favorable Local Background Check (LBC) and National Agency Check (NAC) as applicable to the position requirements, current and future.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
