General Support Worker (1414-209)

Reports to Maintenance Paving & Equipment Supervisor. This is a part-time position during the winter snow season.
PRIMARY DUTY: Answer phone calls from customers and respond to section leadership and snow plow drivers via radio.
Data entry into an excel spreadsheet when customer calls in to report a road is in need of maintenance, i.e. snow/ice removal.
Data entry into an excel spreadsheet when snow plow drivers call in to report road condition, i.e. cleared of snow, etc.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily in Excel. Understand, read, write, and speak fluent English.
Must be willing to be called in at any time of day/night for duty when it snows.
Must be willing to work 12 hour shifts if needed.
Must be able to monitor weather and road conditions from the internet.
Required Experience
EDUCATION: High School Diploma.
Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License. Able to receive and maintain a favorable Local Background Check (LBC) and National Agency Check (NAC) as applicable to the position requirements, current and future.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
