Program Manager (Air Force)
American Systems is seeking an experienced on-site Project Manager associated with Communication and IT services for the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Successful Program Manager will oversee the efforts of all staff associated with services including telecommunications, network operation and support, information assurance, and related functional services. Candidate must have experience managing a project schedule, developing and managing a budget, and able to effectively interact with customers to ensure services are delivered on time and meet contractual obligations.

Job Requirements
Interact with client leadership on a daily basis and report weekly
Provide overall team direction and guidance
Provide overall master project scheduling and resource allocation
Provide strategic planning, incorporating the client's vision and objectives, setting priorities, assigning tasks and responsibilities
Support efforts to ensure systems are authorized to operate in accordance with IT security policy (e.g., through A&A process reviews and examinations
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting programs of similar size
Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management
PMP Certification and ITIL certifications a plus
Security Clearance:
Secret clearance required at time of hire
