Operations Supervisor I - (Facility Manager)
Plan, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the Dean of Faculty (DF) facilities and support staff in Fairchild Hall, Consolidated Education and Training Facility (CETF, or Fairchild Annex) and the Aeronautics Lab at the United States Air Force Academy.
Plan, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the Dean of Faculty facilities support staff.
Work under the overall direction of the Cadet Support Services Program Manager.
Coordinate daily with the DF representatives to schedule work and identify specific and general requirements.
Coordinate as needed with all non-DF representatives assigned to Fairchild or CETF to ensure their facility requirements are addressed.
Assign specific work responsibilities to personnel within the functional area.
Direct personnel in the proper use and maintenance of all equipment within DF Support and assures that all safety practices are followed.
Take necessary actions to monitor and communicate to all involved such activities as building evacuations, power or hot water outages, etc.
Coordinate with all sections of Base Civil Engineering (CE) to effectively control and support all construction and maintenance in the three buildings.
Meet Facility Manager requirements as outlined in the Customer Service Handbook, including changing of light bulbs, work request submittals, and key control.
Recommend, as requested, for such transactions as merit increase, reclassification, disciplinary, and rehire actions and related personnel actions.
Maintain records, prepare and submit reports and ensure materials are ordered as required.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, health and waste management policies and procedures.

Perform other duties to directly support Cadet Support Services and Aleut Management Services mission needs.
