NWROS Maintenance Manager at PAE Consulting Engineers in Usaf Academy, CO
The Maintenance Manager in support of the Northwest Range and Operations Sustainment Program (NWROS) (formerly known as JPARC) will be responsible for all maintenance related actions on the contract. PAE's support to the largest joint training range in the Air Force, supported out of Eielson AFB, AK and Elmendorf AFB, AK. Responsibilities Lead Program-wide Maintenance Management to performance levels required Ensure GFE is well-maintained at specified all locations in all weather Maintain technical understanding of the radars, telecom and microwave, (PDL) backbone, etc. Provide complete sustainment and maintenance support for specified systems, subsystems, and equipment required Perform all necessary preparation/Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI's) tests/checks on required systems/equipment Perform all necessary preparation/Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMEs)/tests/checks as required by Technical Order (TO) or equipment/Government manuals/documentation on scheduled systems/equipment to support threat training windows Responsible for the operation and maintenance of IRSSS scoring equipment, computers, microphones Responsible for maintaining strafing pits, berms and provide and operate trencher as necessary for Contractor maintenance of cable between the pits and the tower. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher required 15 years management and supervisory experience in the performance and execution of Air Force/Army contractors or equivalent military experience Significant experience working with / and or leading Maintenance Management for USAF Threats, Ranges, and Operations environment Significant experience leading a large, complex, maintenance management contract (or military equivalent) Maintains a working knowledge of military large force exercise events involving joint and coalition forces Able to relocate to within 1 hour of Eielson AFB (Fairbanks, AK) within 30 days of contract award Ability to collect, analyze and summarize data and to prepare clear and concise reports Possess strong communications, interpersonal and managerial skills and extensive background in leading a diverse team Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks and administrative details in a fast paced and constantly changing environment DoD Secret Clearance
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
